India’s industrial companies are also facing new challenges as a result of the Corona crisis. In order to remain part of global industrial supply chains, suppliers as well as IT and engineering companies are presenting themselves in new virtual trade fair formats. At India International Engineering Week (IIEW) & POWERELEC VIRTUAL EXPO from 18 to 20 November 2020, for example, more than 50 key companies will present themselves in a matchmaking with buyers from Europe.  The nomenclature of the companies:

The organizer of IIEW, Fairactexpo, wants to use the event to help ensure that India’s supply industry remains in dialogue with buyers from Europe despite travel restrictions. India expert Carolin Hambrügge from GPS Procurement India Ltd. also sees opportunities to realign regional supplier networks under the keyword local for local. She will report on the updating of regional procurement strategies at the IEEW’s virtual trade fair conference on 20.11.2020. Johannes Kirsch, Senior Director International Affairs at ZVEI, will discuss the cooperation potential of the electrical and electronic industries of Germany and India when entering third markets on November 19, 2020.
