Corona: Challenges 2021

10 December 2020 Workshop on Economic Promotion: Digital Services, Transformation, Internationalisation

Online workshop

The challenges posed by the corona crisis remain many and varied – especially for institutions that are responsible for the economic stabilization and further development of regions and industrial clusters. This virtual workshop and networking organized by Deutsche Messe Technology Academy and Global Business Magazine is designed to enable economic development managers to exchange personal experiences across all national, regional and local responsibilities. The organizers and hannoverimpuls as partner of the event want to contribute to an informal networking and to a continued dialogue of all exhibitors and partners of Global Business & Markets of HANNOVER MESSE.

  • What are lessons that can be learned from national, regional and local Corona programs? Is there already something like models for stabilizing and success in the “new normal”?

  • How can economic development agencies, faced with continuing travel restrictions, network and promote their ecosystems internationally?

  • How does the Corona challenge accentuate existing challenges that economic development agencies must face? How to master digitalization of production, “green” transformations and the organization of global supply chains?

  • How can agencies cooperate to develop joint cross-border support programs and stabilize SME and industrial clusters?
